HSSK Welcomes Cindy Eddins Collier as Managing Director

FCG Member Firm Hill Schwartz Spilker Keller LLC , a business valuation, litigation consulting and computer forensics firm in Texas has announced the addition of Cindy Eddins Collier, CPA/ABV/CFF, CVA, CMPE, CPHIT as Managing Director of Healthcare Valuation.  She has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field, and over 20 years of valuation experience. Cindy is nationally recognized as a distinguished thought leader and educator, and contributor to the valuation body of knowledge. She came to HSSK from  from Healthcare Valuation Solutions, of which she was the CEO and Founder.

FCG Member Named to AICPA Hall of Fame

Linda Trugman, CPA/ABV, MCBA, ASA, MBA was named to the AICPA BV Hall of Fame last month. Induction into the BV Hall of Fame recognizes individuals whose lifetime achievements and contributions have significantly advanced the discipline and enhanced the valuation profession for CPAs. This is a small group, only 21 have been indicted to the AICPA BV Hall of Fame and 18 of those are current or former FCG members.

FCG Member Firm is the "Best Of The Bay"

Burr Pilger Mayer (BPM), the largest California based accounting and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that it received first-place honors in the “Business Accounting Firm” category in The Recorder’s 2009 “Best of the Bay” poll. The third-annual survey was limited to California State Bar certified attorneys and asked respondents about the business services and products they recommend to colleagues.

New Publication by FCG Member

FCG Member Mike Crain, CPA/ABV. ASA. CFA. CFE is the co-author of the recently published book The Portable MBA in Finance and Accounting. The book, published by John Wiley & Sons, is in its 4th edition and is published globally in various languages. Mike contributed a chapter on business valuation.
